Join us to welcome Shabbat all summer long!

We will kick off Summer Vibes @ TBS on Friday evening, July 7th as we welcome Rabbi Elyse Pincus Abrahams to our community with an ice cream truck, crafts, lawn games, and more.

Throughout the summer following services enjoy a delicious Lemonade Stand oneg of refreshing summer treats.

Check out the full schedule below and register for special Friday evening events, including food trucks, BBQ, sing-alongs, yoga, activities, and more for the whole family to enjoy.

Friday evening Shabbat services weekly @ 6:15pm

Register here for all Shabbat special events. There is no need to register for Lemonade Stand onegs.

Friday, July 7: Sweet Welcome to Rabbi Elyse, 5-8pm

Enjoy a visit from the ice cream truck as we welcome Rabbi Elyse to our TBS community! You can get your delicious cool treat either before or after Erev Shabbat services. There is no charge for this event, but registration is appreciated.

July 14: Shabbat Sing-Along, 5pm; Lemonade Stand oneg, 7pm

Join us for a Shabbat Sing-Along geared toward families with children ages six and younger. There is no charge for this event, but registration is appreciated.

July 21: Lemonade Stand oneg, 7pm

July 28: Summer BBQ and Refugee Resettlement Celebration, 5-8pm

Enjoy dinner with Trolley Dogs food truck, all kinds of fun hot dog toppings, grilled cheese, Italian ices, and fresh lemonade. Celebrate the ongoing work of our Refugee Resettlement Initiative bringing refugees from Ukraine into our community with music, crafts, stories and more! Cost: $12 per person, $36 family cap. Includes all food and beverage. Hot dogs are Kosher. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

August 4: Lemonade Stand oneg, 7pm

August 11: Om Shalom Yoga Service; Lemonade Stand oneg, 7pm

Om Shalom Yoga Shabbat creates a spiritual space that centralizes healthy movement and breathwork as part of a Shabbat worship service. The practice includes Shabbat prayers, music, and ceremony woven together into a movement-practice that makes for a unique experience of worship. Ages 12 and above. All physical abilities are welcome.

Om Shalom Yoga will run concurrently with our regular Shabbat services. Both services will conclude at approximately the same time and enjoy oneg together.

August 18: Lemonade Stand oneg, 7pm

August 25: Summer Nights Kona Ice truck, 5:30pm; Cocktail Hour oneg, 7pm

Say farewell to summer with a visit from the Kona Ice Truck from 5:30-6:30pm, before Erev Shabbat services. Following the service, enjoy cocktail hour with adult lemonade for those 21+, along with snacks for all. There is no charge for this event. Registration is appreciated.

September 1: Lemonade Stand oneg, 7pm

September 8: Camp Shabbat S'mores oneg, 7pm

Wear your camp merch and join us for Camp Shabbat! The service will include a "welcome home" blessing for TBS members and staff who spent the summer at camp and will be followed by an oneg with s'mores and other camp-themed treats!
